Owners must notify Allure Pet Salon if their animal(s) bite, have bitten, or are aggressive toward people or other animals. Allure Pet Salon may attempt to groom the dog using bite prevention muzzles; however, we reserve the right to refuse/stop services for such pet(s) anytime before or during the grooming process. Aggressive Dogs will be charged fees in addition to the entire grooming cost.
All pets are required to be bathed as part of the grooming process. Bathing improves the outcome of services, such as haircuts, while minimizing excess wear and tear on grooming equipment. For pets with allergies, skin issues, or other sensitivities, we offer an alternative shampoo and conditioner for an additional fee. Clients are also welcome to provide any vet-prescribed medicated shampoos as needed.
Appointment cancellations require 24 hours’ notice. Appointment reminder emails and text messages are sent out before the appointment to confirm your appointment time. Our system tracks “No Show” history and an additional fee will be applied to your next groom. Pets arriving more than 20 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and considered a cancellation.
Please inform staff of flea or tick issues to help maintain a sanitary environment. A cleaning fee will be assessed in addition to the grooming price due to work required to sanitize and prevent Salon infestation.
We at Allure believe in doing what is best for the pet. If your pet is matted, the most humane steps will be taken, including shaving the matted hair away from the skin. Minor tangle and matting may be removed for an additional fee. We will do our best during the initial inspection of your pet to make you aware of the state of the coat.
