Owners must notify Allure Pet Salon if their animal(s) bite, have bitten, or are aggressive toward people or other animals. Allure Pet Salon may attempt to groom the dog using bite prevention muzzles; however, we reserve the right to refuse/stop services for such pet(s) anytime before or during the grooming process. Aggressive Dogs will be charged fees in addition to the entire grooming cost.

All pets are required to be bathed as part of the grooming process. Bathing improves the outcome of services, such as haircuts, while minimizing excess wear and tear on grooming equipment.  For pets with allergies, skin issues, or other sensitivities, we offer an alternative shampoo and conditioner for an additional fee. Clients are also welcome to provide any vet-prescribed medicated shampoos as needed.

Our Express Grooming service is designed with special consideration for pets who may have mobility challenges due to age or disability. Available during select times and days, this service ensures that your pet receives gentle and efficient grooming within the shortest possible timeframe.

At Allure Pet Salon, we aim to provide the best service while managing the impact of missed appointments and late cancellations. Our Missed Appointment and Late Cancellation Policy includes a fee of 40% of the original service price if an appointment is missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice. This policy helps us compensate for lost time and resources, ensuring we can continue offering quality care to all our clients.

At Allure Pet Salon and Spa, we prioritize the health and safety of both our clients and staff by enforcing a strict Flea and Tick Infested Dog Policy. If a dog is found to have fleas or ticks during grooming, we will administer a flea and tick shampoo for an additional $25. This fee covers the cost of the treatment, removal of the parasites, and thorough sanitization of the salon to prevent any spread.

Mats in your pet's coat can grow tighter, strangle the skin, and conceal issues like hot spots or bruises. Removing mats requires extra care to avoid nicks, cuts, or skin infections, and can sometimes cause temporary irritation or changes in the coat’s appearance.

To prevent matting, regular grooming appointments are essential. Severe matting can cause lasting trauma and may result in aggressive behavior during grooming. At Allure Pet Salon and Spa, we emphasize the importance of regular care and reserve the right to refuse services for pets not on a consistent grooming schedule. Please be aware of the potential risks and side effects associated with mat removal and ensure your pet is scheduled for regular grooming to maintain their comfort and health.
